Angelina Uliashova (b. 1993, Saint Petersburg) is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, drawing, costume design, embroidery, and linocut. Her artistic journey began early, leading her at age 11 to the Preparatory School of the Russian Academy of Arts for classical training. In 2012, she entered the Ilya Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture, where she specialized in Painting and Theatre Design. During her studies, she took part in university exhibitions and designed costumes and sets for several stage productions, graduating with a Master of Fine Arts in 2018. She then moved to Paris to focus on theatre production and costume design, collaborating with the Opéra National de Paris and assisting Hubert Barrère on productions for the Théâtre National de l’Opéra Comique (Zémire et Azor, Chasing Rainbows). Recently, she created costumes for L’isola disabitata at the Opéra Bastille. Alongside her theatre work, Angelina continues to develop her personal artistic practice, incorporating embroidery and linocut to deepen and diversify her visual language.
